Throughout the 2025 offseason, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been seen hanging around iconic NBA superstar Michael Jordan. "Whatever we did last year, that's in the rearview mirror,” Eagles tackle Jordan Mailata said this week.

It's early, and reading too much into things is par for the training camp course, but Eagles fans can rest easy. The Birds are focused. Jalen Hurts is back, and the ball is barely touching the ground. Take that, Cam Newton! Rumors of Hurts' demise have been greatly exaggerated.

When the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell in the first round of the 2025 selection process, the organization acknowledged that it would take some time for the prospect to see the field.

Also, Vic Fangio gives an early assessment of Jihaad Campbell, while the depth chart for the defensive front emerges.

"Toward the end of the Eagles’ first training camp practice on Wednesday, cornerback Kelee Ringo expressed his frustration by smacking his hands together. He was in good position on wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. near the left sideline, but he couldn’t knock it away from Marshall’s hands and gave up his third big catch of the day."

The Eagles drafted Central Florida cornerback Mac McWilliams in the fifth round of this year’s draft and signed veteran cornerback Adoree’ Jackson in free agency, pushing Ricks to the sixth spot on the depth chart. General manager Howie Roseman could hold onto Ricks or trade him for depth at a different position.
