The State Liquor Authority clarified an earlier ruling limiting alcohol for outdoor dining to seven participants citywide.

Dining Out NYC allows thousands of approved restaurants to offer outdoor dining along roadways from April 1 through November 29.

The roadway cafes that popped up across the city during the COVID pandemic had to be taken down last year, but they've now become seasonal, running from April 1 to Nov. 29. Meanwhile, sidewalk seating will be allowed year-round.
