John Wick fans will be delighted that a new prequel movie centred on a major plot element has been announced. It has been confirmed that a new animated feature is in the works, which will see Keanu Reeves return to voice his character.
John Wick will return in "Chapter 5," as it was officially announced on Tuesday that Lionsgate is in development on the next film in the billion-dollar franchise. The announcement was made on the CinemaCon stage by Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson broke the news at CinemaCon on Tuesday. Chad Stahelski, who directed all four of the previous John Wick movies, along with producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, will join Reeves in returning to the series of films that have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide.
