An auction this September will feature the lightsaber used by Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back. The prop is expected to fetch up to $3 million, the auction house estimates. Also going up for bid are Sauron’s helmet from The Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones’ belt, bullwhip and pistol holster from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

A lightsaber wielded by Darth Vader is set to go under the hammer for the first time ever. The iconic weapon was used by the Star Wars character in both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and could fetch as much as $3m.
