Sovereignty continued his reign among 3-year-olds with a victory in the Jim Dandy on a weekend that saw Breeders' Cup contenders in action hither and yon.

Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes champion Sovereignty rallied after losing position heading into the final turn to win the $500,000 Jim Dandy by a length at Saratoga on Saturday.

The dual classic winner scored over determined Baeza and will continue on to the Travers next month at Saratoga
