No. 11 Kansas coughed up its biggest lead in school history in a 81-70 loss at Baylor. The Jayhawks led by 21 points at one point in the first half and were up 40-21 at the break. And then a disaster hit right after halftime as Baylor cut the lead to to four less than five minutes into the second half with a 19-4 run.

After blowing a 21-point lead and losing to Baylor Saturday, Kansas is in a three-way tie for fifth place in the Big 12. The Jayhawks were No. 1 in the AP preseason poll.

After several of its recent victories necessitated late rallies, the Kansas men’s basketball team found itself in the unfamiliar position of playing from ahead in the second half on Saturday afternoon.
