A Delta Air Lines pilot was arrested on child sex abuse charges and removed from a plane’s cockpit immediately after landing in San Francisco on Saturday night, authorities said.

A passenger on the flight told NBC Bay Area that the remaining pilot and crew members appeared stunned, calling the incident "shocking and unnerving."

A pilot was arrested aboard a Delta Air Lines flight and federal agents took him into custody from the cockpit after the plane landed.
