Oklahoma’s run of four straight Women’s College World Series titles ended Monday night in a narrow loss to Texas Tech.

The Red Raiders saw star pitcher NiJaree Canady give up a tying homer in the top of the final inning, but they scored a walk-off run in the bottom of the frame to reach their first Women’s College World Series final.

Texas got past No. 7-seeded Tennessee after the Lady Vols survived an extra-innings thriller against UCLA. The Longhorns' offense was far from its best on Monday as it recorded just five hits and two runs, but it was enough to advance to a second consecutive championship series.
