Storms roared through Southeast Texas Saturday, dropping 2 inches of rain in spots. This is great news because we are still under widespread drought. The area also saw widespread wind damage and lightning , bringing down fences and even reports of collapsed steps. Brenham even saw pea sized hail when the line of storms first began to organize.
