The first arriving command vehicle found a two-story town house with the attached adjoining garages on fire, a vehicle inside the garage on fire, and one vehicle outside of the garage on fire.

Fire crews responded to an empty two-story house on the corner of Chicago and Southwick Streets around 10 a.m. When they arrived, they found both the house and the garage fully engulfed by flames.
