Colombian President Gustavo Petro says he will call for a special election in which voters will be able to approve or reject labor reform and health reform, which have been stalled for months in congress.

A bipartisan, end-of-the-year healthcare package including telehealth extensions, PBM reform and a physician fee schedule fix was thwarted. Democratic lawmakers tried again to pass these provisions, but the bill was not brought to the floor March 10.
