Whenever it is time for him to retire, Rey Mysterio wants a WWE farewell tour like John Cena is doing. While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Mysterio was asked if he would rather have his final match announced or ride off into the sunset whenever he wants.

"I think he's John Cena. He can call his shot and he's busy doing other stuff," Punk said. "He's spending more time here giving back on his way out...I would feel fortunate if he picked me to do anything with me.

Following the 2025 Royal Rumble, in which Cena was the runner-up, he announced his participation in the Men's Elimination Chamber match. Presumably, WWE will follow the same format as last year and have the winner earn a championship match at WrestleMania 41.
