The Artemis 2 mission is set to become NASA’s first crewed journey toward the Moon since the Apollo programme concluded in 1972. Unlike its predecessors, the mission will not attempt a lunar landing but will instead focus on testing key systems essential for future deep-space exploration.

The Artemis II rocket has been rolled back towards Launch Complex 39B at Kennedy Space Center following the completion of the necessary maintenance tasks inside the Vehicle Assembly Building.
