Mark your calendars for the rare total lunar eclipse, as the Moon, Earth, and Sun align to create one of the most breathtaking sights in the night sky.

February's full moon, nicknamed the "snow moon," will be visible in the night sky, coinciding with snowy conditions in New Jersey.

While both solar and lunar eclipses are not uncommon, it's still cool to be able to catch one. This March, we will be treated to a lunar eclipse, and the entirety of the United States will get to see the full eclipse. According to NASA, there are two different kinds of eclipses.
