A minor, 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck in the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday, followed by a larger 4.2 magnitude earthquake and another 3.8 magnitude quake, according to the United States Geological Survey.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.3 magnitude quake hit close to San Ramon Monday morning.

Between 6:27 a.m. and 8 a.m. PST on Feb. 2, USGS data showed 33 earthquakes of magnitude 1.3 or higher near San Francisco.
