During Notre Dame football's blowout of Syracuse, running back Jeremiyah Love has joined the company of Jerome Bettis.

Jalen Stroman didn’t just fill in admirably. He was outstanding during the victory, recorded eight total tackles, two tackles for loss, and returned an interception for a touchdown. Stroman got off to a slow start in 2025 but this was by far his best game in the blue and gold. His presence greatly strengthens the floor of the safety room.

Syracuse has consistently prioritized the Garden State since Brown arrived at Syracuse two years ago. That has not been lost on Nevers, who has helped his Spartans team to a six-win season in a competitive division within New Jersey and a spot in the postseason.
