As Windsor recovers from the havoc Friday evening’s thunderstorm left behind, some are asking about severe weather preparedness.

For the second straight day, the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for multiple counties across the state because of the threat of strong storms with damaging wind gusts,

Warm and dry before storm chances arrive by the middle of the week. Temperatures heat up by the weekend.

Nine boaters were safely rescued from a disabled vessel during a severe thunderstorm Friday in Lake Michigan.

A dangerous thunderstorm swept across central Alberta late Saturday, triggering multiple emergency alerts and bringing heavy rain, hail the size of baseballs and funnel clouds. CBC's Emily Fitzpatrick has more on the storm's impact.

A few strong to severe storms will be possible and may produce gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning.
