Mostly cloudy for Christmas Day with a few morning rain showers and highs again in the upper 40s to low 50s. A wintry mix seems likely Friday afternoon into night;

For today, a warm day ahead with mainly cloudy conditions. A few sprinkles are possible. If we can sneak in a little sunshine, it would likely be during the afternoon. A high temp in the mid to upper 60s.

Mostly cloudy with southeast winds 5 - 15 mph and highs in the low 40’s. Drizzle with a few pockets of light rain to develop. Drizzle and fog tonight with lows in the middle 30’s. Patchy fog to begin our Christmas Day with cloudy skies and highs around 40.

Any fog clears up by Christmas morning, setting up a cloudy day. Another round of drizzle and light rain showers is expected to roll in well after dark Christmas night and possibly last into early Friday morning.

We have more mild and cloudy weather on tap for the rest of Christmas weekend in the Quad Cities. We’ll see some fog at times Christmas night again too. We’ll see highs in the lower 50s with mostly cloudy skies.

We’ll start our Christmas morning off with some patchy fog, but by the afternoon we’ll be fairly pleasant. Temperatures will be in the lower 40s with mostly cloudy skies. We’ll have another chance for drizzle,

For Christmas Eve night, Rudolph’s nose better be bright because it will likely be foggy with some light rain. That will transition to a gray Christmas with a chance for some drizzle or light rain in the morning. Highs will be in the low 40s.

Meteorologist Mark Tamayo said the forecast remains on track, with another disturbance expected to move in late this afternoon and into the evening.
