Since its debut for the 2023 model year, the RZ has been a rather sleepy EV, but Lexus is apparently keen to change that. The luxury division's European arm has just unveiled an updated RZ, and it brings more power as well as a couple of intriguing new technologies.

At the global reveal, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, Lexus stated that the RZ 550e F Sport packs a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system rated at 402 hp, nearly 100 hp more than the current RZ lineup’ s top output. Lexus said it also fine-tuned the damper and spring settings to accommodate the RZ 550e F Sport’s extra power.

Lexus claims the improvements boost driving range by up to 100 km (62 miles). The RZ 350e is expected to have a WLTP driving range of up to 575 km (357 miles), while the 500e and F Sport trims will get around 500 km (310 miles) and 450 km (280 miles), respectively.
