Liverpool manager Arne Slot has left Luis Diaz out of the squad against AC Milan, as Bayern Munich plan a second bid for the Colombia international.

Liverpool left Luis Diaz out of their pre-season friendly against AC Milan amid uncertainty about his future as Bayern Munich continue their bid to sign the winger. Head coach Arne Slot decided it was best not to pick Diaz after a summer of interest in him and with the 28-year-old seemingly open to a move away from Anfield.

Bayern Munich have upped their offer for Liverpool winger Luis Díaz and are believed to be in the €70-80m range. The Premier League side had previously rejected a €67.5m bid. Spanish outlet AS say Díaz is edging closer to an exit and Bayern are pushing to get the deal done before the window closes.
