A total of 12 people have been shot in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood, leaving three people dead, police said.

The announcement came at a nearly hour-long press conference on July 5, where community leaders discussed a mass shooting between juveniles that occurred hours after a Fourth of July celebration ended downtown,

Three people were killed and nine others wounded in a mass shooting early Monday morning in South Philadelphia, police said. The deceased victims were identified only as a 24-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, local CBS affiliate KYW reported.
