One of the 11 stabbing victims in the rampage at the Walmart near Traverse City told News 8 she has pity for the mentally ill man accused of driving a knife into her back. She has forgiven him.

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Eight of the 11 victims hurt in a stabbing at a Traverse City Walmart have been released from the hospital. The stabbing happened on July 26 at around 5 p.m. The motive behind the attack is still unknown.

Bradford James Gille, 42, is suspected of traveling from his home nearly 100 miles away to perpetrate the stabbing attack at the Walmart store in Garfield Township, just outside of Traverse City. He is slated to be arraigned soon on criminal charges that include attempted murder and terrorism.
