Tom Troupe, a stage and TV actor who appeared in "Star Trek," "Murder, She Wrote" and "Cheers," died Sunday morning at his home in Beverly Hills.

Tom Troupe, a prolific character actor who appeared in dozens of series, including Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, and Frasier, has died. He was 97. The Kansas City, Mo., native died of natural causes in his Beverly Hills, Calif., home Sunday morning, a representative confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.
