The WTA Dubai final is set to feature an exciting showdown between two of tennis’s most promising young talents: 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva and 22-year-old Clara Tauson.

Youth will be served in the final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, where 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva is set to take on Denmark's Clara Tauson for the biggest title of their careers.

Andreeva will now meet either Karolina Muchova or Clara Tauson in the final, chasing her second Tour-level title and a career-high world ranking.

Mirra Andreeva has just completed another upset in Dubai and she is now the youngest player with a WTA 1000 final on her resume since the format was introduced in 2009. On Thursday, the No. 12 seed stunned second-seeded Iga Swiatek 6-3 6-3 to make her first WTA 1000 semifinal.

Clara Tauson, ranked 38th, has three career WTA titles, the most recent one at Auckland last month. She is chasing her own history of being the first Danish woman to compete in a WTA 1000 final since Caroline Wozniacki. Clara Tauson becomes the 2nd Danish player to reach a WTA 1000 singles final.
