Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has shared a rather gut-wrenching reaction to the Dallas Mavericks' decision to trade Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.

News broke from ESPN late, late Saturday night that Doncic, who just took the Mavericks to the NBA Finals, was being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in a deal that included Anthony Davis. It’s the first time (per ESPN research) two reigning All-NBA players have been traded for each other midseason.

“I don’t feel that way,” Mahomes said Wednesday in his first media availability ahead of Sunday’s AFC title game against Buffalo, where the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs will try to earn a chance at a three-peat.
