However, according to a July 2025 article on TV Line, the animated show has been canned. A poster claiming a Married with Children reunion movie was in the works is making its rounds online. The rumors began when Facebook user @YODA BBY ABY shared the artwork for the film on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. It included the message:
