The NWS Raleigh NC released a flood advisory at 7:23 p.m. on Monday in effect until 9:15 p.m. for Durham County.

On Tuesday at 2:39 a.m. the NWS Raleigh NC issued an updated flood advisory in effect until 3:15 a.m. The advisory is for Davidson, Forsyth and Guilford counties.

New Orleans and the surrounding area were placed under a flood advisory Monday afternoon by the National Weather Service as the region dealt with heavy rain that left thousands without power. 6,958 customers were without power in New Orleans, according to Entergy's outage map.
