SANTA MARIA, California (KOLO) - Four members of Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue are in California to fight the Gifford Fire.

Gifford Fire initially started 3:44 p.m. Aug. 1 in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara County, California.

About 60% of all Wisconsin high schools and 70% of all public high schools now participate. Experts and educators worry that this will mean less support for Wisconsin students and programs.
