U.S. federal regulators on Wednesday gave Venture Global LNG permission to increase the export capacity of its Plaquemines, Louisiana, LNG plant. Regulators in a statement said they had approved the plant increasing production capacity to 27.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved Venture Global's request to increase the processing and export capacity of its Plaquemines LNG project in Louisiana to 27.2 million metric tons per year.

The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Wednesday approved Venture Global (NYSE:VG) to increase the export capacity of its Plaquemines, Louisiana, liquefied natural gas plant to 27.2M metric tons/year from 24M tons/year.

US liquefied natural gas producer Venture Global Inc. will start long-term supply contracts from its Calcasieu Pass export facility in Louisiana in mid-April, the latest development in the seller’s dispute with customers including Shell Plc and BP Plc.
