Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani could clinch victory Tuesday when the New York City Board of Elections releases the first look at the ranked-choice voting results from the June 24 primary.

NEW YORK — Zohran Mamdani has won New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, a new vote count confirmed Tuesday, cementing his stunning upset of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and sending him to the general election.

Tuesday’s release includes ranked choice tabulations of all in-person votes and mail-in votes received and processed by Election Day. The BOE will continue to release tabulations for any remaining ballots, including cured affidavit ballots, on a weekly basis.
