The Stanley Cup Playoffs field is nearly set. There's less than a week left in the regular season and only four spots are left up for grabs. Seeding is also a hot-button topic with many of the first-round matchups still in flux.

Hurricanes captain Jordan Staal spoke after the game about the gritty loss to Washington and how there is still a positive to be found in it. "It's adversity like that, and you've got to battle through. We're going to run into something like that in playoffs, for sure."

A week from now, the Stanley Cup playoff bracket will be set, and the first games of the postseason will take place on April 19. Many of the teams competing in the playoffs are known, but the final seeding remains up for grabs -- as does the final order in the draft lottery.
