A Chinese artist calls Ditto over his Ho-Oh fan art being copied by The Pokémon Company, but there may be nothing they can do about it

The Pokémon Company has now posted a statement which suggests that the illustrator who was commissioned created the card designs for the game was sent “incorrect reference materials” from the game’s card production team, which were wrongly presented as official art and led to the artist using them as a reference for the card art.

Wisdom of Sea and Sky, the new expansion, will be the former, as it's a full expansion – likely marked A5 – with two booster sets based on Ho-Oh and Lugia. The Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion will be released in Pokémon TCG Pocket later this week,
