Severance season 2 is right around the corner, and if you don't have an Apple TV Plus subscription you can now watch the first season on Roku. It's only available for a limited time, though, as episodes are only available until January 19, slightly after the season 2 premiere on January 17. So Roku is giving you the weekend to catch up!

Apple TV+ really hopes you'll get hooked on the dystopian hit—which, to be fair, you probably will—and become a subscriber for Severance season two.

In a novel promotion, Season 1 of breakout Apple TV+ series Severance will stream free on the Roku Channel during the runup to the second-season premiere.

Apple is using the Adam Scott thriller to try and drive new subscribers to its streaming service, following a number of moves to get its programming in front of those who may mot have sampled it.

The show’s entire first season is available on the Roku Channel as part of an “exclusive fan experience” until January 19. In addition to the first season, the Roku Channel will also offer a preview of the show’s second season and behind-the-scenes content, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
