Brad Marchand revealed that he's open to re-signing with the Florida Panthers in free agency, but won't make any decision before the end of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final.

Nurse was referring to Game 5 of the Final last year, when the visiting Oilers defeated the Panthers 5-3. It was part of a valiant comeback attempt in a series in which the Oilers lost the first three games, won the next three and then fell short in the deciding game.

The second consecutive Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers has been about as even as a series can get through two games, with each winning one in overtime.
