In the grim darkness of the 21st century, at least we have this awesome Warhammer 40,000 'Astartes II' trailer to watch

Games Workshop has brought missing-in-action Warhammer 40,000 animation Astartes 2 back from the dead with an incredible teaser trailer that has wowed fans of the hobby. However, there’s a catch: nothing in the teaser will be in the new animation.

Space Marine 2 is targeting a February 2025 release and will bring a new PvP map, the Biovore, and the Raven Guard to the game.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be getting multiple substantial updates through the first half of 2025 and beyond. The year's first big patch will release in February, adding a new map, a new Tyranid enemy, and Absolute difficulty.

In a new blog post, Focus Entertainment reiterated its commitment to supporting Space Marine 2 throughout 2025 and beyond, promising new skins, new PvP and PvE maps, custom lobbies for PvP, the long-awaited Horde mode, PvE prestige ranks, and new weapons all this year. Meanwhile, the Datavault update arrives in February with update 6.0.
