It hasn't been that long since Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis returned to action following an adductor strain during his debut with the franchise. With that being said, Davis suffered an apparent injury in the Mavericks home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday evening.

The Hawks have the likes of their stat guard, Trae Young. Young, who has been a mainstay on the injury report with an Achilles issue, has also been upgraded from probably to available. Young will also start and play in his 71st game of the season.

Right when the Mavericks got Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford back in their lineup, their frontcourt took another painful hit. During the first quarter of Wednesday’s Mavericks-Hawks game, Anthony Davis was hit with some friendly fire, catching a stray elbow near his right eye from Gafford.
