If a severe storm does make it into Northwest Arkansas, it will bring a risk of hail and wind. Sunday is the day to be aware of the weather. The threat will likely be largest between noon and 5 p.m. The River Valley is nearest to the storms' projected paths. If storms do develop during this time, we could see tornadoes, strong wind, and hail.

Widespread storms are expected to sweep through a region stretching from Texas to Michigan on Sunday. Some of the most severe weather is expected in the Ohio and Tennessee River Valleys, where forecasters said the conditions are right for “very large hail, damaging winds and strong tornadoes.”
