The 27-year-old shooter is dead and three officers are injured following an early morning shooting at a CBP station in McAllen, Texas

The man opened fire on the building in McAllen, Texas, on Monday. A border patrol employee and two officers were injured, federal officials said.

The incident took place at the entrance of the U.S. Border Patrol sector annex in McAllen, a city in southern Texas that borders Mexico, according to the DHS spokesperson. Mosqueda fired dozens of rounds toward the building and agents inside, Rodriguez said.
