The Vet Center hosted the Vietnam 50th Commemoration Pinning Ceremony Saturday at the South Burlington Public Library, where veterans and their families gathered to honor those who served during the Vietnam War.

The Houston National Cemetery will host a Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony on March 28 at 9 a.m. to honor and thank veterans who served during the Vietnam War. The event is open to the public and encourages all Vietnam Veterans and their family members to attend.

Ahead of the event, the center noted "152 Panhandle military personnel gave their lives during the Vietnam War."

The ceremony will honor several fallen heroes, including Chief Kevin E. Morgan of the Boonsboro Police Department, who passed away April 13, 2024.

President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Mumbai from March 31 to April 1. During her visit, she will attend the closing ceremony celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Her office announced the itinerary in a statement issued on Sunday.
