Federal agents and sheriff's deputies stormed the cockpit of a Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis to San Francisco over the weekend and arrested the co-pilot on child sexual assault charges, authorities said.

A woman was taken into custody in connection with the case of a Delta Air Lines pilot who was arrested at San Francisco International Airport and charged with child sex crimes.

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines has suspended a pilot after he was arrested on child sex crime charges. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office says deputies and Homeland Security boarded a plane immediately after landing at San Francisco International Airport and arrested Rustom Bhagwagar, 34.
