National figures reported by ICE over the past week show the agency has arrested far more immigrants per day on average than did the Biden administration. On Wednesday, for example, the agency reported a total of 1,016 arrests. That is more than three times higher than last year’s daily average.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement had yet another busy day on Sunday, arresting nearly 1,000 people and lodging 554 detainers, as President Donald Trump attempts to secure the border.
