The Big Ten has expanded its national profile in recent years with the additions of four former Pac-12 teams in USC, UCLA, Washington and Oregon, giving the league a television footprint from coast-to-coast.

Penn State head football coach James Franklin wasn’t thrilled about the fact that the Big Ten Football Media Days were held in Las Vegas and he let the media know about it. Franklin talked about the fact that the conference should have the media days in “Big 10 country” rather than an outpost like Las Vegas.

"We want people to shut up? We can shut them up real easy," James Franklin says of the 2025 Penn State Nittany Lions.
