Worlds will align for a "planetary parade" in January, with four bright and easily visible to the naked eye. But an even better view arrives in February and March. Here's what you need to know.

If you've looked up at the night sky in January, chances are you've seen some of the brightest views of our solar system in over a year.

In the early evening, look to the southwest and you'll see Venus (the brightest object in the sky after the Sun and Moon) and Saturn. If you’ve got a small telescope, seeing the rings of Saturn is a special treat. In the northeast viewers can find Mars and Jupiter, famous for its bands and large moons.

Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn and Venus will put on a show after sunset. Planet alignments like this aren’t rare, but they also don’t come around every year. The best part of this planetary alignment will be how they lineup along the horizon.
