A dozen leaders from Europe and Canada visited Ukraine's capital Monday to mark three years since Russia's invasion, in a show of continued support from some of Kyiv's most important backers.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday along with other Western political leaders to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

A lawyer for Luigi Mangione, the man accused of fatally gunning down U.S. health insurance executive Brian Thompson in December, told a judge Friday that her client was illegally searched during his arrest and she would seek to exclude that evidence from his trial on state murder and terrorism charges.
