Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Sovereignty will make his return to the races Saturday in the $500,000 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. The three-year-old male division leader will head a field of just five going nine furlongs in the traditional prep race for the “Mid-Summer Kentucky Derby”,

Sovereignty, at the to pf the 3 year-old division, he will have to keep up the good work against some old foes in Saturday's Jim Dandy at Saratoga Race Course.

It was more of the same for Sovereignty in the traditional local prep race for the Travers Stakes, as he continued to execute his trainer’s 3-year-old-campaign plan in flawless style.
