She was appointed in 2021 by President Joseph Biden to serve as Treasurer of the Democratic National Committee, a position she is very proud to currently hold. She served as National Co-Chair for Women for Biden and Women for Harris, and is a longtime National Co-Chair of the DNC’s Women’s Leadership Forum.

Jaime Harrison did not seek a second term as chair of the party. Ken Martin won the election on the first ballot with 246.5 votes.
