I just sold my 2021 trd off road and bought a tundra.. so far I love the drive .. power and handling of the truck .. but I also liked the Tacoma’s as well .. just wanted more room in the cab and power .

Go to the spec page for RAV4, for example, and look at how the drivetrain is described in the spec page (full spec page with all the drop-downs). AWD is more and more common on other vehicles these days, especially with Toyota hybrids. Even Prius and Corolla have it as options!

Feb 5, 2024 · If you’re into off-roading, a built Tacoma is inarguably a better choice than a Tundra, just based on dimensions. Same goes for driving in a city, parking in a garage, or absolutely insisting on a manual transmission (honestly, I get that one). Outside of that, the value proposition is real tough to go with a Tacoma.

Tacoma had about 1 1/2 to 2 inches more space from the back of the cab to the middle door post. A bigger truck would have been overkill for my needs, and I don't need an SUV. Based on the reviews I've seen so far, the 2024 Tacoma is about 1 or 2 inches shorter in that space than the 3rd Gen Tacoma.
