The best downwind conditions in Tarifa are during offshore wind. This is not an issue, unless we get a larger swell from the Atlantic Ocean to make the paddle out from the surf a bit more challenging. This afternoon we had beautiful rips forming along the shore during low tide and the strategy was to use the strong current flowing out at sea to help us get past the surf quicker and less interactions with the oncoming swells.
