This is a vintage 1957 Gibson p-90 that came in for repair from Norik Renson. There is no reading on the coil and the bobbin is cracked and bowed. I will try to reconnect the leads and peel back some of the wire to see if I can save the coil, but I suspect the pickup has an internal break from the bobbin cracking and shifting. If the coil cant be saved I will rewind the pickup on our vintage mechanical winding machine with 42 Enamel wire just like what’s on there. A full video of the repair / re
