The 86th Academy Award Ceremony took place on March 2nd, 2014. Since “The Wizard of Oz” was celebrating its 75th anniversary that year, The Academy dedicated a portion of the ceremony to the film’s legacy. To open the Oz portion of the show, EGOT winner, Whoopi Goldberg took to the stage in custom, ruby-red heels, to acknowledge Judy Garland’s family in attendance. Lorna Luft, Joey Luft and fellow EGOT, Liza Minelli were all there to celebrate 75 years of the most beloved film of all-time. Whoop
